Dell 310-8285 Specifications
The Dell 310-8285 SAS 5/E Adapter from Dell is a non-RAID adapter that is designed to communicate to Dell compliant SAS and SATA II drives. The SAS 5/E Adapter is intended to communicate to future direct attached storage array products via 2 x 4 external connectors. It utilizes high performance SAS 3 Gbps technology to connect to the hard drives, and PCI Express® (PCI-E) interface. In the SAS5E HBA controller the LSI SAS 1068 is a 2 x 4 port SAS/SATA controller, with each of the 8 PHYs capable of 3.0 and 1.5 Gbps SAS/SATA link rates. Each port on the LSISAS1068 supports SAS and SATA devices using the SAS Serial SCSI Protocol (SSP), Serial Management Protocol (SMP), Serial Tunneling Protocol (STP), and SATA. It has a 1 MB flash memory that stores the firmware image, key configuration data and, limited error logging information and it supports pre-failure notifications sent by the hard drives SMART events. It is is RoHS and SAS 1.1 compliant, and offers data transfer rate up to 300 MBps per link in each direction.

Our corporate headquarters is located in Irvine California where shipments and logistics are managed.  RICOM utilizes over 700 warehouses and fulfillment centers worldwide to improve availability, and ease delivery.  Obtain a freight estimate online or by contacting a RICOM representative.

Can you ship on my freight account?
Yes. Please contact a RICOM representative for details.  UPS, FedEx, and TNT are preferred for parcel shipments.  LTL shipments can be setup with a variety of other carriers.

Do you ship internationally?
Yes, RICOM ships worldwide. We have customers in over 50 countries and have extensive experience in international shipping methods as well as working with customs regulations.

What type of warranty do you offer?
Our warranties range from 30 days to one year depending on the manufacturer.  We offer certified extended warranty programs on most equipment through the manufacturer.
