The HP 509316-B21 ProLiant BL490c Coupling up to 2 Intel® Xeon® processors with 18 DIMM slots. The 509316-B21 BL490c and BL495c are optimized for hosting virtual machines, including high memory capacity, embedded 10GbE controllers, and support for solid-state drives. The BL490c uses Intel® Xeon® processors, while the BL495c uses AMD Opteron processors.

The 509316-B21 BL490c G6 requires the use of the HP BladeSystem c7000 or c3000 Blade Enclosure running the latest revisions of Onboard Administrator firmware.
