IBM 7778-8271 QLogic 8 Gb Fibre Channel Expansion Card (CFFh) The new QLogic Ethernet and 8 Gb Fibre Channel Expansion Card (CFFh) for IBM BladeCenter is installed in the blade server and allows connectivity to high-speed switch bays. This expansion card provides flexibility for connecting the blade server to the horizontally oriented BladeCenter H modules in bays 7 and 8 or bays 9 and 10 when using the Multi-Switch Interconnect Module (MSIM).

IBM 7778-8271 Features

The IBM 7778-8271 QLogic Ethernet and 8 Gb Fibre Channel Expansion Card (CFFh) has two 8 Gb Fibre Channel ports and two 1 Gb Ethernet ports. This card has the following chip sets:

• A QLogic 2532 ASIC with two 8 Gb Fibre Channel ports
• A Broadcom 5709S ASIC with two 1 Gb Ethernet ports

This expansion card can be combined with a CFFv or CIOv card on the same blade server.

Can you ship on my freight account?
Yes. Please contact a RICOM representative for details.  UPS, FedEx, and TNT are preferred for parcel shipments.  LTL shipments can be setup with a variety of other carriers.

Yes, RICOM ships worldwide. We have customers in over 50 countries and have extensive experience in international shipping methods as well as working with customs regulations.

What type of warranty do you offer?
Our warranties range from 30 days to one year depending on the manufacturer.  We offer certified extended warranty programs on most equipment through the manufacturer.
