The Nortel DS1402002 8006 Chassis provides four slots for installing I/O modules and two slots for installing either 8190SM Switch Management Modules or 8691SF Switch Fabric Modules. Slots are numbered from the top down. The top four slots allow you to install either 8100 or 8600 I/O switch modules. Slots 5 and 6 are reserved for 8000 Series switch fabric or switch management modules.

The Nortel DS1402002 8006 Chassis provides three bays for power supplies. The following power supplies are available:

• 8004 AC Power Supply
• 8004 DC Power Supply

Each power supply provides 850 watts (W) of power to the switch. Two power supplies constitute a redundant power configuration for most installed module configurations in the Nortel DS1402002 8006 Chassis.

What type of warranty do you offer?
Our warranties range from 30 days to one year depending on the manufacturer.  We offer certified extended warranty programs on most equipment through the manufacturer.
