Juniper JXE-4FE-TX-S 4-Port Fast Ethernet Enhanced PIM

The Juniper JXE-4FE-TX-S Interface modules (EPIMs) for Secure Services Gateway(SSG) 500 Series platforms and J-series J4350and J6350 routers are designed to complementthe four on-board 10/100/1000 Ethernetinterfaces with expanded Ethernet connectivity options.

The EPIMs leverage a separate high speed bus that provides nonblocking access to each of the cards to maximize performance.

Juniper JXE-4FE-TX-S Features

The SSG 550 can support up to four EPIMs plus two PIMs (DS3, T1/E1, or Serial) while the SSG 520 can support up to two EPIMs plus four PIMs.
The J6350 can support up to four EPIMs plus two PIMs (DS3/E3, T1/E1, FE, ADSL2+, G.SHDSL, ISDN, or Serial) while the J4350 can support up to two EPIMs plus four PIMs.
Supports full VLAN ID range (1-4096) with the total configured being limited to the maximum number of VLANs specified by the base systems.
EPIM configuration can be accomplished through CLI, WebUI or NetScreen Security-Manager.
