The QLogic 9040 Switch is scalable enabling datacenter environments and enables virtual I/O Integration. The QLogic 9040 Switch has an intelligent Virtual I/O Controller (VIC). VIC modules installed in QLogic 9040 Switch allow hosts on InfiniBand fabrics access either Fibre Channel or Ethernet networks. VIC modules utilize Virtual HBA and Virtual NIC technology creating a virtual pool of network and storage resource connectivity. VIC technology eliminates the cost and complexity of running multiple server physical connections for storage, network, and inter-processor communications, and allows each virtual network type to scale independently over a “single wire” connection.  Fabric Scalability. The QLogic 9040 Switch - Fabric Directors economically support most any cluster interconnect requirement. The family scales to support small networks with as few as 12 nodes using a single 2U chassis to multi-thousand node networks using multiple Fabric Director systems working in concert as a single high performance virtual fabric.

Where will my order ship from?
Our corporate headquarters is located in Irvine California where shipments and logistics are managed.  RICOM utilizes over 700 warehouses and fulfillment centers worldwide to improve availability, and ease delivery.  Obtain a freight estimate online or by contacting a RICOM representative.

Can you ship on my freight account?
Yes. Please contact a RICOM representative for details.  UPS, FedEx, and TNT are preferred for parcel shipments.  LTL shipments can be setup with a variety of other carriers.

Do you ship internationally?
Yes, RICOM ships worldwide. We have customers in over 50 countries and have extensive experience in international shipping methods as well as working with customs regulations.

What type of warranty do you offer?
Our warranties range from 30 days to one year depending on the manufacturer.  We offer certified extended warranty programs on most equipment through the manufacturer.
