All Marconi ASX and TNX multiservice switches come standard with switch control processors. The switch control processors are the "brains" of Marconi's multiservice switches. These top-of-the-line Pentium SCPs bring flexibility, high performance, and resiliency to your multiservice network, raising the bar for switch performance. Some of the functions of the switch control processors (SCP) include ATM connection set-up, configuration management, PNNI route caching, and code downloads (via in-band and out-of-band management). With ForeThought 8.0 and later software, the processors also support the MPLS Label Edge Routing (LER) and Label Switch Router (LSR) functions, as well as store IP and MPLS routing tables. SCP options exist for every application. The 200 MHz SCP with the available High Memory Module will support Ethernet over ATM, low traffic MPLS, and traditional ATM, Voice and Frame Relay services. By stepping up to the 266 MHz SCP with the High Memory Module, you add support for MPLS transparent LAN services. This premium processor, the 400 MHz SCP with a High Memory Module, increases the switch's performance to include simultaneous support for MPLS and ATM over the same physical interface. Featuring the Intel Pentium processor, the high-performance switch control processors (SCPs) for Marconi's switches raise the bar once again for switch performance. These top-of-the-line SCPs offer increased memory and processing power that ultimately provides increased virtual circuit (VC) space and calls rates, and advanced features required for growing networks. Where will my order ship from?
Our corporate headquarters is located in Irvine California where shipments and logistics are managed.  RICOM utilizes over 700 warehouses and fulfillment centers worldwide to improve availability, and ease delivery.  Obtain a freight estimate online or by contacting a RICOM representative.

Can you ship on my freight account?
Yes. Please contact a RICOM representative for details.  UPS, FedEx, and TNT are preferred for parcel shipments.  LTL shipments can be setup with a variety of other carriers.

Do you ship internationally?
Yes, RICOM ships worldwide. We have customers in over 50 countries and have extensive experience in international shipping methods as well as working with customs regulations.

What type of warranty do you offer?
Our warranties range from 30 days to one year depending on the manufacturer.  We offer certified extended warranty programs on most equipment through the manufacturer.
