The Sun SEWPBAA1Z M3000 server is powered by the new SPARC64 VII processor. The new SPARC64 VII features 2.52-GHz processor, with two threads per core 5 MB of on-chip L2 cache and improved reliability features, including core isolation and increased checkers. The Sun SEWPBAA1Z M3000 Server is twice as fast as legacy UltraSPARCIIIi systems from Sun, while consuming only half the space and energy. The Sun SEWPBAA1Z M3000 Server can be configured to meet the customers needs as needed. The SEWPBAA1Z SPARC Enterprise M3000 server delivers greatly improved business efficiency and with its high density design theM3000 shows a 50 percent reduction in space and power consumption all while doubling the performance when compared to the Sun Fire V445 server.
