Arista SFP-10G-DW-54.1 Dense Wavelength-Division Multiplexing (DWDM) Small Form Factor Pluggable (SFP) module give companies network infrastructure the ability to scale up and deploy GB Ethernet or Fibre Channel network transmissions on their networks.  DWDM SFP combine network signals simultaneously at different wavelengths on the same fiber.   Using DWDM, SFP’S can deliver up to 80 or more separate wavelengths or data channels that are multiplexed into a lightstream then transmitted on a single optical fiber.  These denser channel spacing deliver a faster way to transmit more data at cheaper costs.

Arista SFP-10G-DW-54.1 DWDM SFPs allows Telecom carriers the ability to respond to a wide range of customer networks demands, including streaming video that need a large amounts of bandwidth for real time transmissions.  Customers who require frequent increase in bandwidths can use DWM SFP’s. By splitting transmissions the fibers transmissions capabilities are like having  more than two carriers.
