The Sun M4000 SPARC Enterprise Server offers up to four quad-core 2.4 GHz SPARC64 VII or four dual-core 2.15 GHz SPARC64 VI processors with the option to mix processors ina 6RU rack-optimized server.  The Sun server is perfect for virtualization consolidting systems admistering mainframe standards.  Single and dual-socket, 1-2 RU servers with outstanding throughput for a wide range of network, application, HPC and OLTP database environments, with maximum space and power efficiency.  The Sun M4000 features the new SPARC64 VII processor consists of four SPARC V9 cores with two simultaneous threads per core. It's built with an advanced 65nm Cu 10-layer process technology for high speed and density. You can choose to configure the Sun M4000 server with up to 4 processors with 16 cores running 32 threads and each processor can have access to any memory DIMM regardless of its location.

The Sun M4000 SPARC Enterprise Server has a new system interconnect which is a 32GB/s crossbar switch that interconnects processors and local memory with the I/O subsystem. This interconnect/bus was designed to minimize latency and provide maximum throughput, regardless of whether the workload is compute, I/O, or memory intensive.  The I/O system interface features hot-swappable I/O cards and disk drives, each of which provides eight PCIe slots and two 2.5-inch SAS disk drive bays. Can you ship on my freight account?
Yes. Please contact a RICOM representative for details.  UPS, FedEx, and TNT are preferred for parcel shipments.  LTL shipments can be setup with a variety of other carriers.
