Cisco Catalyst WS-C2940-8TF-S Series Switches

The Cisco Catalyst WS-C2940-8TF-S switch is a standalone, managed switch offering eight Fast Ethernet ports and a single integrated Fast Ethernet or Gigabit Ethernet uplink. The switch is a ideal upgrade from older switches including  the Cisco 1548M, 1548U, 1538M, and 1538U switches and hubs.

The Cisco Catalyst WS-C2940-8TF-S Series is extremely easy to set up and configure via Cisco Express Setup, a simple Web-Based setup utility. For more advanced configuration and ongoing management, the Cisco Catalyst WS-C2940-8TF-S Series has a console port and supports remote management protocols such as Telnet, Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP), as well as Cisco Network Assistant, which is a free PC-based network management application. The Cisco Catalyst 2940-8TF supports an MT-RJ connector for the 100BASE-FX port, and an LC connector for the SFP port. For customers that use SC or ST connectors, MT-RJ-to-SC and MT-RJ-to-ST fiber patch cables and LC-to-SC fiber patch cables. In addition, the Cisco Catalyst WS-C2940-8TF-S Series is supported by a limited lifetime warranty. The Cisco Catalyst 2940 Series Switches support Cisco 1000BASE-LX/LH, 1000BASE-SX 1000BASE-T, 1000BASE-ZX, and CWDM SFPs.  RICOM sells new and used WS-C2940-8TF-S switches.

Yes. Please contact a RICOM representative for details.  UPS, FedEx, and TNT are preferred for parcel shipments.  LTL shipments can be setup with a variety of other carriers.

What type of warranty do you offer?
Our warranties range from 30 days to one year depending on the manufacturer.  We offer certified extended warranty programs on most equipment through the manufacturer.
