A next-generation platform for intelligent switching, the Catalyst 4500 Series includes four chassis: Catalyst 4510R (10-slot: redundant Supervisor Engine capable), Catalyst 4507R (7-slot: redundant Supervisor Engine capable, Catalyst 4506 (6-slot), and Catalyst 4503 (3-slot). A primary component of Cisco Service-Oriented Network Architecture (Cisco SONA), the Catalyst 4500 Series extends control to enterprise wiring closets, branch offices, and Layer 3 distribution points.

The Cisco Catalyst 4500 Series offers nonblocking Layer 2-4 switching with integrated resiliency, further enhancing control of converged networks. Converged voice, video, and data networks with high availability help enable business resiliency for enterprises, small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs), and Metro Ethernet customers deploying Internet-based business applications.
The Cisco Catalyst 4500 Series includes four Catalyst chassis: the Catalyst 4510R (10 slots), the Catalyst 4507R (seven slots), Catalyst 4506 (six slots), and Catalyst 4503 (three slots). Integrated resiliency enhancements offered in the Catalyst 4500 Series include 1+1 supervisor-engine redundancy (Catalyst 4507R and 4510R), redundant fans, software-based fault tolerance, and 1+1 power-supply redundancy. Integrated resiliency in both hardware and software minimizes network downtime, helping to ensure workforce productivity, profitability, and customer success.

The Cisco Catalyst 4500 Series extends control to the network edge with intelligent network services, including sophisticated quality of service (QoS), predictable performance, advanced security, comprehensive management, and integrated resiliency. Scalability of these intelligent network services is made possible with dedicated specialized resources known as ternary content addressable memory (TCAM). Ample TCAM resources (up to 192,000 entries) enable "high feature capacity," which provides wire-speed routing/switching performance with concurrent provisioning of services such as QoS and security. This helps ensure scalability for today's network requirements with ample room for future growth.

Our corporate headquarters is located in Irvine California where shipments and logistics are managed.  RICOM utilizes over 700 warehouses and fulfillment centers worldwide to improve availability, and ease delivery.  Obtain a freight estimate online or by contacting a RICOM representative.

Can you ship on my freight account?
Yes. Please contact a RICOM representative for details.  UPS, FedEx, and TNT are preferred for parcel shipments.  LTL shipments can be setup with a variety of other carriers.

Do you ship internationally?
Yes, RICOM ships worldwide. We have customers in over 50 countries and have extensive experience in international shipping methods as well as working with customs regulations.

What type of warranty do you offer?
Our warranties range from 30 days to one year depending on the manufacturer.  We offer certified extended warranty programs on most equipment through the manufacturer.
