CISCO WS-G5487 1000BASE-ZX SFP FOR LONG-REACH SINGLE-MODE FIBERS The 1000BASE-ZX SFP operates on standard single-mode fiber-optic link spans of up to approximately 70 km in length. The SFP provides an optical link budget of 23 dB, but the precise link span length depends on multiple factors such as fiber quality, number of splices, and connectors.  The Cisco WS-G5487 10000 Gigabit Ethernet module is targeted at ISPs using gigabit Ethernet for Intra-POP interconnect. The Gigabit Ethernet module supports a full gigabit per second of traffic (full duplex) providing the highest total bandwidth and throughput per module in the Cisco 10000 platform.
