The Catalyst 6500 offers the high performance WS-X6548-RJ21V 48 port 10/100/1000 Ethernet module featuring an optional field-upgradable Ethernet in-line power daughter card that can support IP phones, IP video cameras and wireless access points using Cisco in line power capabilities or the forthcoming IEEE 802.3af inline power standard in the near future. The WS-X6548-RJ21V module is compatible with all Catalyst 6500 Supervisors, chassis configurations, modules, as well as operating system software. With full support of the Cisco AVVID architecture, the WS-X6548-RJ21V module is ideal for performance oriented wiring closet deployments using the Catalyst 6500's 256Gbps switch fabric. Now Enterprise customers can realize Gigabit Ethernet to the desktop and productivity enhancing IP communications, or can add inline power via a daughter card in the future, providing additional investment protection.

The 48-port 10/100/1000BASE-T switching module WS-X6548-RJ21V provides 48 switched, 10/100/1000-Mbps autosensing, full- or half-duplex ports. The module has 48 RJ-45 connectors for use with either Category 3, Category 5, Category 5e, or Category 6 UTP cable. This module can be upgraded with an inline-power daughter card to support IP phones.  The WS-X6548-RJ21V supports the 256 Gbps (CEF256) switch fabric module (SFM/SFM-2) for premier wiring closet configurations. This module is ideal for enterprise customers deploying or planning to deploy Cisco AVVID (Architecture for Voice, Video and Integrated Data) enabled wiring closets and who want Gigabit Ethernet to the desktop.  RICOM sells new and refurbished WS-X6548-RJ21V network modules.

Can you ship on my freight account?
Yes. Please contact a RICOM representative for details.  UPS, FedEx, and TNT are preferred for parcel shipments.  LTL shipments can be setup with a variety of other carriers.

What type of warranty do you offer?
Our warranties range from 30 days to one year depending on the manufacturer.  We offer certified extended warranty programs on most equipment through the manufacturer.
