The Cisco WS-X6708-10G-3CXL Ethernet module provides 8 10-Gbps full- or half-duplex ports.  The WS-X6708-10G-3CXL comes factory-equipped with a DFC3CXL daughter card and ships with WS-X6708-10GE and WS-F6700-DFC3CXL.

The 8-port 10 Gigabit Ethernet module provides up to 66 10 Gigabit Ethernet ports in a single Cisco Catalyst 6500 chassis and 132 10 Gigabit Ethernet ports in a VSS. It supports 64 Gbps of local switching, ideal for deployment in the core or aggregation layer of LAN campus and data centers. All 8 ports can be used to create a virtual switch link in a VSS. The WS-X6708-10G-3CXL  8-port 10GbE module has 40 Gbps connection to the fabric and can demonstrate up to 64 Gbps local switching. The distributed forwarding card (DFC) can forward traffic at 48 Mpps.  The WS-X6708-10G-3CXL come with 1 GB DRAM.  WS-X6708-10G-3CXL  chassis supported  All Catalyst 6500 chassis and 7600 chassis support the 8-port 10 Gigabit Ethernet module. When operating in an E-Series chassis (6503-E, 6504-E, 6506-E, 6509-E), the 6509-NEB-A chassis with dual fan tray, or Cisco 7604 chassis, 7609 chassis with dual fan tray, the configuration is NEBS 3  compliant (supports operating temperatures up to 55°C). When operating in a non-E-Series chassis (6506, 6509, 6513), 6509-NEB-A chassis with single fan tray, or Cisco 7606/7613 chassis, 7609 chassis with single fan tray, fan tray 2 and 2500W or higher power supplies are required, and the configuration is not NEBS 3 compliant (supports operating temperatures up to 40°C only). This module is not supported in the Catalyst 6503 non-E Series chassis. 
The following optics are supported on the WS-X6708-10G-3CXL 8-port 10 Gigabit Ethernet module at FCS:

• X2-10GB-SR: 26m over FDDI grade MMF, 300m over 50-micron 2000 MHz*km MMF

• X2-10GB-LR: 10km over SMF

• X2-10GB-ER: 40km over SMF

• X2-10GB-LX4: 300m over FDDI grade MMF

• X2-10GB-CX4: 15m over 8-pair 100-Ohm Infiniband cable

Our corporate headquarters is located in Irvine California where shipments and logistics are managed.  RICOM utilizes over 700 warehouses and fulfillment centers worldwide to improve availability, and ease delivery.  Obtain a freight estimate online or by contacting a RICOM representative.

Can you ship on my freight account?
Yes. Please contact a RICOM representative for details.  UPS, FedEx, and TNT are preferred for parcel shipments.  LTL shipments can be setup with a variety of other carriers.

Do you ship internationally?
Yes, RICOM ships worldwide. We have customers in over 50 countries and have extensive experience in international shipping methods as well as working with customs regulations.

What type of warranty do you offer?
Our warranties range from 30 days to one year depending on the manufacturer.  We offer certified extended warranty programs on most equipment through the manufacturer.
