The ES-3810 allows you to migrate from a shared Ethernet LAN to a fully switched, high-performance network with a dedicated switched Ethernet connection to each desktop. A dedicated switched connection provides increased performance (no more sharing bandwidth - plus support for full duplex connections), increased reliability (no one else can bring the segment to a halt), and increased security (no one else on the segment can snoop conversations).

The ES-3810's flexible 4-slot modular design allows you to mix and match: shared 10BaseT, dedicated 10BaseT, shared 10BaseFL, dedicated 10baseFL, dedicated 10/100TX, shared 10/100TX and 100FX in the same chassis, allowing you to migrate to a Marconi network no matter what your network looks like today.
