The IBM 5709 Dual Channel SCSI RAID Enablement Card ( FC 5709 )is a bootable high performance SCSI RAID Enablement feature providing RAID 0, 5, or 10 capability to select pSeries systems with the appropriate supporting integrated SCSI adapter and internal multiple disk drives or packs of drives. The fc 5709 Dual Channel SCSI RAID Enablement Card adds RAID 0, 5, or 10 disk array capability to systems containing the appropriate supporting dual channel integrated SCSI adapter. It provides an internal RAID (Redundant Array of Independent Disks) solution on supporting systems with internal multiple disk drives or packs of drives. Internally attached Ultra320 devices can run at a data rate up to 320 MB/s on systems that have internal backplanes capable of running Ultra320 speeds.
